Barter's Tours 7 Nights Cinque Terre & Tuscany

Day 1 - ARRIVAL DAY ON PISA AIRPORT 

• Depart Cork and arrive at PISA Airport (time to be advised)
• On arrival, meet with our tour escort and transfer by private coach to Montecatini
• Accommodation in 4 star hotel in Montecatini
• Welcome dinner (welcome drink, 3 course menu, ¼ wine + 1/ mineral water) and overnight

Day 2  - FLORENCE

• Breakfast and depart to Florence by coach
• Appointment with the guide and visit of Florence: Dome, The Baptistery (outside), Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio e Ponte Vecchio
• Lunch at leisure
• In the afternoon, depart to a Tuscan Farmhouse “Fattoria il Poggiop” or similar for a typical Tuscan dinner (tasting of 4 wines + 4 course menu drinks excluded during dinner)
• Back to the hotel and overnight

Day 3 - FREE DAY IN MONTECATINI ( NO COACH) 

• Breakfast in Hotel and a day at leisure in Montecatini
• Dinner at leisure
• Overnight

Day 4 - CINQUE TERRE

• Breakfast in the Hotel and depart to La Spezia
• Appointment with the guide at the port of La Spezia
• Excursion by private boat Cinque Terre villages (or by train – it is subject to weather conditions) and spend your day exploring Vernazza and Monterosso
• Lunch in a local restaurant (3 course menu – drinks excluded)
• Continue to Portovenere and visit the village
• Back to La Spezia
• Transfer back to the Hotel in Montecatini
• Dinner at leisure
• Overnight

Day 5 - SIENA & SAN GIMIGNANO

• Breakfast and depart to Siena by coach
• Met our local guide and visit of the historical centre with the famous Piazza del Campo, the heart of the city and famous setting where the Palio race takes place each year, visit the cathedral with its splendid mosaic floor
• Lunch at leisure
• In the afternoon depart to San Gimignano and have a guided tour of this splendid medieval village located at the top of a hill dominated by beautiful medieval towers, once built by the wealthiest families (there were 72 towers which rivaled each other in height)
• At the end of the day return to the hotel, dinner in the hotel, and accommodation

Day 6 - LUCCA & PISA

• Breakfast and depart to Lucca by coach
• Arrival and meet the local guide and start the guided visit of the medieval town, the birthplace of Puccini, guided tour of this pretty town enclosed within its ramparts: Passage in front of Puccini's birthplace (exterior), the facade of the church of Saint Michele, Place Napoleone, the Duomo Square and the Cathedral of Saint Martino (exterior)
• Continue to Pisa
• Lunch in a local restaurant (3 course menu – drinks excluded)
• After lunch, a guided visit to “Miracles Square” with the Leaning Tower (only outside), the cathedral, and the baptistery
• Back to the hotel
• Dinner at leisure
• Overnight

Day 7 - FREE DAY IN MONTECATINI (NO COACH) 

• Breakfast in Hotel and day at leisure in Montecatini
• Dinner at leisure
• Overnight

Day 8 - DEPARTURE

• Breakfast in Hotel
• Depart by Coach to Pisa Airport for flight back to Cork
