The Camino de Santiago (UNESCO World Heritage) or Way of St James is one of the most famous pilgrimage walks in the world. Its history is steeped in a tradition of over a thousand years when pilgrims came to visit the final resting place of the apostle who, legend has it, was buried initially in the year 44AD after his martyrdoom by Herod, and whose final resting place was rediscovered early in the 9th century.

The Via Francigena is the trail to Rome starting in Canterbury and crossing Europe where you can discover a stunning heritage trail dating back to the Middle Ages.
This epic trail crosses regions of wonderful sceneries such as the Alps and Tuscany, as well as cultural and historic landmarks such as the Champagne region and II World War battlefields of Northern France. Fishermen’s Trail always runs along the Portuguese coastline in the south west of Portugal just below Lisbon starting in the region of Alentejo. It follows the trails used by locals to get to the beaches and fishing spots.
Fishermen’s Trail is along the cliffs and sandy beaches and dunes to small hills which can only be travelled by foot. You can just appreciate the permanent contact with the ocean breezes, the harsh coastal scenery, and the wild natural landscape for a circuit of 120 km.
