Spiritual Director: Fr Noel Spring
Fatima where the Blessed Virgin appeared to the three children, Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta in 1917 is now one of the greatest Marian Shrines in the world. This year’s pilgrimage is being led by Fr Noel Spring, and will be accompanied by a Representative of Barter’s Travelnet. A full programme is arranged, and pilgrims can participate in all the official ceremonies; a half day tour visiting Aljustrel, and the Fatima Parish Church is included and a guided tour of the Sanctuary area.
DAY 1 (11TH MAY)
Depart Shannon Airport at 1.50 p.m. and arrive at Porto Airport at 4.05 p.m. On arrival in Porto transfer to Fatima. On arrival in Fatima check – into the Hotel. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 2 (12TH MAY VIGIL OF THE FEAST DAY)
Breakfast in Hotel. Today we will have an orientation tour of the Sanctuary area, the Rosary Basilica, and the graves of Jacinta, Francisco, and Lucia. Free for lunch. The afternoon is free for optional activities. Dinner in Hotel. The vigil celebrations will begin at 9.30 p.m. with Rosary and procession of Our Lady followed by concelebrated Mass. The ceremonies usually go on until midnight. Overnight in Hotel.
DAY 3 (13TH MAY FEAST DAY)
Breakfast in Hotel. The Rosary begins at 09.00 a.m. followed by Procession. 10.00 a.m. Concelebrated International Mass on the square, Blessing of the sick, and Adieu or Farewell to Our Lady (bring white handkerchief). Lunch in the Hotel. The afternoon is free for optional activities. Dinner in Hotel. 9.30 p.m. Rosary and Candlelight Procession. Overnight.
DAY 4 (14TH MAY)
Breakfast in Hotel. Following breakfast, we will visit the village of Aljustrel to see the homes of Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta as well as Valinhos, where Our Lady appeared in 1916 and the well in Lucia's garden where the Angel also appeared. Today there will be an opportunity to partake in the outdoor Stations of the Cross. Free time for lunch. Dinner in Hotel. 9.30 p.m. Rosary and Candlelight Procession.
DAY 5 (15TH MAY)
Breakfast in a Hotel. Transfer from Fatima to Porto. Upon arrival in Porto, we will have a panoramic tour of Porto city. Transfer to Porto Airport for return flight home. The flight departs at 10.35 p.m. and arrival time at Shannon Airport is 00.50 a.m.
Mass will be celebrated each day.

Hotel Fátima is a 4-star hotel within easy walking distance to the Sanctuary of Fátima and the Apparitions Chapel. It features a large lounge area and bar, and business centre.
All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV and a work desk.
The hotel restaurant serves regional Portuguese and international cuisine. There are also facilities available for hosting weddings, banquets and conventions.
Located in the area are the World Heritage Monasteries of Batalha and Alcobaça. The beaches of Nazaré, Vieira and Pedrogão are also within 50 km.
