Jubilee Pilgrimage to Rome & Assisi - June 2025

Day 1 - (June 12th)

Depart Cork and arrive at Rome Airport. On arrival in Rome, meet with our tour escort and transfer by private coach to our Hotel in the suburbs of Rome.

Day 2 - (June 13th)

After breakfast, We will have guided tour of St Peter’s Basilica and it's Holy Door. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon we will have a walking tour of Rome, visiting the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona. We will check into our hotel in Rome city. 

Day 3 - (June 14th)

After Breakfast, we will make our way to St Peter’s Square to attend the Papal Audience. (Depending on the Pope’s schedule). Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, visit St John Lateran Basilica and Holy Door and St Mary Major’s Basilica and Holy Door.

Day 4 - (June 15th)

After breakfast our coach will take us to visit the Catacombs of St Callixtus. We will visit St Paul’s Outside the Walls and it's Holy Door. This magnificent Basilica was once the largest in the world. The sarcophagus of St Paul is now visible since the 2008 excavations.

Day 5 - (June 16th)

Following breakfast, we depart for Assisi. We will stop enroute for lunch . Check into our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 - (June 17th)

Following breakfast, we will visit Upper Assisi. We will have a walking tour of the main sights of the medieval town of Assisi. We will visit the Basilica of St. Francis. We will also visit the Basilica of St Clare, foundress of the Order of the poor Clare’s. Dinner and overnight.

Day 7 - (June 18th)

Today we will be visiting Cascia. We will also visit Roccaporena (if weather permitting), birthplace of St Rita. Return to Assisi for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 - (June 19th)

Following breakfast, depart by Coach to Rome Airport for flight back to Cork
